Ballots, Not Bullets

We can’t shoot our way out of this mess. One man’s hate is another man’s discourse. Look, it’s OK to hate. It’s not OK to kill because of it. That’s why we have art, to settle our differences without killing. Two years of trump is showing us the answer to the question, “Why can’t government be run like a business?” We have the historic chance to make things right in the U.S.A. in 2018 if we:

1. Write off the trump supporters and the alt-right. I know how their brain works. The thing that most accurately describes an extreme right-wing conservative, white supremacist is that they cannot change their mind. They’re afraid, mainly of themselves. They are in the minority anyway, so don’t waste time or effort on them. They’re sick and will need to heal in their own time.

2. Get out the vote among independents, immigrants, young folks, minorities and disaffected voters from both parties.

3. Register new voters. Do it now. Don’t wait.
