There's Another Way
Humble and silent? Omerta? That's the Pope's response to the latest, most recent round of sex scandals sweeping through the Roman Catholic Church? I can only surmise that the number of pervert priests in the Catholic Church is so overwhelming, Pope Francis can't control them or abolish them. So, it's clear predatory behavior by priests toward children will continue unabated. And people are catching on. A recent outdoor mass in Ireland was a bust with far fewer attendees than in previous years. If the people are walking away, what about the good, spiritual, dedicated priests?
There are tons of alternatives for Catholics who can overcome their prejudice against Protestantism, but here's one alternative closely related to the mother church (or "father" church such as it is), the American National Catholic Church. I'm not endorsing it, nor would I join it, but certainly every Catholic should be informed about it if they aren't already:
